Privacy Policy

For the Pinterest developer application CollectiveLines Publisher, operated by CollectiveLines. Last updated: November 3, 2026.

CollectiveLines is an independent digital product studio and Etsy shop selling digital planner and template products (shop: etsy.com/shop/CollectiveLines). CollectiveLines Publisher (“the App”) is a private, single-user automation tool used only by the owner of CollectiveLines to manage the shop’s own Pinterest business account.

What the App does

CollectiveLines Publisher uses the official Pinterest API for two purposes only: (1) creating and publishing Pins that link to CollectiveLines’ own Etsy product listings, and (2) reading performance analytics for CollectiveLines’ own Pins and boards.

Information the App accesses

Through the Pinterest API, and only after the account owner authorizes access via Pinterest’s OAuth sign-in, the App accesses the authenticated account’s own data: boards, Pins, and Pin/account analytics. The App does not access any other Pinterest user’s data, does not collect data about Pinterest visitors, and does not run on behalf of any third party.

How information is used

Accessed data is used solely to publish the shop’s own Pins and to evaluate their performance so the owner can improve the shop’s listings. Pinterest data is never sold, rented, shared with third parties, or used to advertise to anyone other than promoting CollectiveLines’ own products through its own Pins.

Data storage and security

API access tokens are stored securely in credential storage and are never published or shared. Analytics reviewed through the App are retained only as long as needed to evaluate Pin performance.

Revoking access

The account owner can revoke the App’s access at any time from Pinterest account settings (Apps / API access), which immediately and completely stops the App’s access to the account.
